In Search of Deeper Meaning
By Reverend Corinne S. Ramage.

There is a hunger in most people to live meaningful lives. Most of us have faith and integrity. We feel a love within ourselves for something beyond self that defies the expectations of the logical mind. Unfortunately, there are few choices that have a format that allows us to express or to grow into our own individual spirituality.

The Healing Fellowship offers the opportunity for growth and support for the individual without restrictive ideology. We celebrate individualism. There are no rigid directives and no directed behaviors. Our goal is to bring you to your own Divinity through support, community and the Teachings of a creator energy called the Mother-Father.

There are a multitude of options for gathering in our contemporary spiritual world. Your choices are everywhere in drumming circles, past life workshops, and retreats to experience - yoga, mediation, forgiveness, self-empowerment, hands-on healing, emotional and physical well-being. We are in search of the sacred. Perhaps we'll find pieces of the sacred in a weekend workshop or a retreat, but will it become a part of ourselves? Will we live it?

Is the potential there for us to become what we long for through the activities we pursue? Do we feel that an eclectic collection of spiritual pursuits will bring us deeper understanding? Maybe they will. But maybe they don't embody the depth and continued support we need to live our lives feeling safe and confident.

"Spirituality in contemporary culture is a designer spirituality, tailored to the need of individual tastes and preferences. Unlike the experience of spirituality and religion of former times, which yielded to preexisting molds and structures and to which personal needs and tastes were subordinated, current spirituality has reversed the situation entirely. It is now the spiritual that must fit our needs, or be discarded like a suit of clothes that neither fits nor is any longer stylish." from Thinking with your Soul by Richard N. Wolman, Ph.D.

We each live a magnificent, subjective reality of the world. This individual reality sometimes strangling and sometimes transcendent, needs a format for expression. With the development of a spiritual dialogue or a common language, we are able to share of the experiences that transcend the logical mind. This sharing of experience brings us into relationship with those who can offer us support, not only in traumatic times, but during times of feeling blissful. There are not many opportunities in our culture to share of transcendent experiences of ecstasy, or grace. Learn a language that allows you to share of your deeper experiences at The Healing Fellowship.

Why consider your spirituality at all?
Because we will all be faced with a personal challenge that we can not manage ourselves. This is inevitable to the human condition. We will be treated unjustly and not have it within our own wisdom to understand this treatment. We will witness truth in ways that derails our lives. A loved one will become ill - or ourselves. Someone close to us will die and our struggle to accept the loss with will be as great as our inability to accept death as a loving teacher.

We long for answers, support and community - with a unique set of parameters. Most of us live typical lives. We have families, perhaps children, go to work, do laundry and the grocery shopping, attempt to budget wisely, and intend to exercise regularly.

We are busy, in pursuit of the quick fix, the quick answer to our questions. We have responsibilities that weigh heavily on us. We worry about the violence in schools, terrorist activities, world politics, retirement and exercise. We are on the whole - busy, concerned and unsupported in our need to make sense of a world that is materialistic, hyperactive and complex.

But we long for a deeper understanding in our lives, one that speaks to us individually. We are intelligent, knowing and wise about our needs but find it diff~cult to feel supported. We are spiritual beings with spiritual concerns, but our lives determine that we will probably be solitary in our missions - even though we long for community, for someone who we can share our concerns with. We don't want to be dictated to, and we have little time to dedicate to our spirituality, but long for a connection to a spiritual community to help us with our questions about life and for deeper meaning.

The Healing Fellowship offers support for today's 21 9t century spiritualist. Reverends in the Healing Fellowship are dedicated to the search for the golden thread of the Divine in your life. Their first vow is to honor your journey as Divine. There are no exceptions. There is no vow to preserve the integrity of a godhead or a requirement of blind devotion for salvation. The Healing Fellowship is about you and the loving support of the Teachings of a creator energy called the Mother-Father.

We are a spiritual and hands-on healing ministry. This means we offer you spiritual counseling and hands-on healing energies to support your journey. Our mission at the Healing Fellowship is to support your spiritual evolution through private counseling session, a wide range of workshops, mediation sessions, healing prayer services, online classes and, for those drawn into a deeper commitment, the Seminary is an excellent choice. (Seminary training is for personal enlightenment. The choice to become ordained in the Faith of the Mother-Father is a personal one More information is available upon request.)

We have Reverends in New York, New Hampshire, Florida, and Vancouver, Canada. All are gifted, dedicated people. We have been growing steadily, doubling our membership every year. Although operating in our present structure since 1995, we incorporated February 2002 as a church. This allowed us to have validity and to offer ourselves to you legally recognized.

Most people come to us at the crossroads of their lives. They are either emotionally torn, physically desperate for answers the medical community does not have or spiritually ungrounded.

You don't have to pass a test or perform any particular ritual to join us. Your intent to evolve spiritually is all you need. Members are encouraged to develop their own unique spirituality. We teach you how to meet your challenges, and to take responsibility for yourself.

Even if you belong to another traditional faith, we do not require you renounce that faith. If we did it would be in conflict with our first vow to honor all journeys as Divine. We trust in your choices.

From Reverend Corinne S. Ramage:
"I am continually amazed at the wisdom in people to know their own truths and to explore their spirituality with depth. They only need some gentle support to reveal their own brilliance. My intent is to hold the space that allows for personal unfoldment and to encourage the choices that enrich life rather than darken the innate vision of truth and hope within us all."

"We offer you the best of ourselves."
